Research on the Innovation of College English Teaching Mode under the Background of “Double Creation”

Abstract


Cultivating innovative talents is the key goal of teaching activities in colleges and universities, and the “13th Five-Year” education development plan also points out that innovation is the task and content that colleges and universities must implement. Under the background of “double innovation”, teachers also need to further adjust their teaching methods and teaching strategies to improve students’ comprehensive English learning ability. Based on this, this paper analyzes the innovation of college English teaching mode under the background of “double innovation” from three angles: backward teaching concept, backward teaching mode and imperfect evaluation system. It also focuses on how to innovate college English teaching mode from the perspectives of updating its own teaching concept, innovating teaching mode and innovating English teaching evaluation, it is hoped to improve students ‘English literacy and promote the innovation and development of college English teaching mode.
