Research Strategies on the Integration of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture into College English Teaching

Abstract

Language is a tool for people to communicate. People in diff erent regions convey their unique culture and history through written records and language communication. In the long history, language plays an irreplaceable role as a carrier of human civilization inheritance. To understand the culture of a region, learning the language of the region is undoubtedly a very eff ective way. Therefore, it is of great signifi cance to integrate Chinese traditional culture into college English teaching. Taking this as a starting point, this paper discusses the signifi cance of integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into college English teaching from three aspects, and further explores eff ective measures for cultural integration, hoping to give some meagre reference opinions to researchers in the same fi eld.
