Based on the actual situation, the arrival of the background of ideological and political education in universities has gradually led to a new development journey for the work system of ideological and political education. Therefore, universities need to clarify the value of practical education in ideological and political education, and scientifi cally sort out the ideological and political education system, in order to eff ectively improve the balance between theoretical and practical teaching, and ensure that students can truly grow into high-quality talents required for social development in China. In this process, universities need to fi rst clarify the characteristics of their own ideological and political education under the background of the great ideological and political education, and actively explore strategies for practical education of ideological and political education.
