Heart to heart talk is a basic requirement of counselor work, and it is also an important way to carry out student work. In the context of the new media era, there have been signifi cant changes in the interviewees, conversation content, and conversation methods. The heart-to-heart conversations of college counselors have become the “post-2000s” who have grown up in the context of the new era and survive in the online environment. Both their learning, lifestyle, and communication styles exhibit networked characteristics. Therefore, traditional heart to heart conversations should keep up with the times, innovate and explore a creative development path with the development of the times and changes in student characteristics.
