Mei Gong

Abstract

Mudong Mountain Song is one of the fi rst national intangible cultural heritages of traditional music in Chongqing. It is an important part of Bayu folk culture and has a high artistic value. At present, there is still a shortage of talents related to Mudong mountain songs, and there is a need to introduce professional artists and form a combination of elite team and mass singing. Based on the introduction of Mudong mountain songs and their research status, this paper takes aesthetic education as the entry point and carries out the activity of “Mudong mountain songs in school”, aiming to make a trial consideration for the eff ective inheritance and development of Mudong mountain songs. The author believes that Chongqing colleges and universities should take up the responsibility of inheriting and protecting the intangible cultural heritage of Chongqing Mudong Shangs, which needs to be gathered and integrated from folk to colleges and universities, from society to professional teams, from the old generation of artists to the young generation of college students, so that Mudong Shangs can present a splendid vision of darkness and light.
