The Influence of School Education and Family Environment on Children’s Leaping into Higher Order Thinking

Abstract


Nowadays, the standard for defi ning talents is no longer limited to their mastery of professional knowledge and skills, but more importantly, it is to examine whether they possess high-level thinking represented by innovative spirit, creativity, and other thinking abilities. As the new force in building a new era of socialism, children bear the heavy burden o f promoting socialist development. Therefore, education in the new era should be oriented towards social development, emphasizing the cultivation of high-level thinking. Schools and families have diff erent educational functions. If school education represents knowledge and skill education, then the family environment aff ects the development of children’s physical, mental, and willpower qualities, Only the combination of the two can ensure the integrity of education.
