The Cultural Adaptation Path of Picture Book Design to College Students’ Psychological Healing

Abstract


Psychological healing has become an important method of psychological therapy nowadays. The purpose of this study is to explore the application and signifi cance of culture-adaptive picture book design in the psychological healing of college students, in order to promote the development of college students’ mental health. Therefore, we collected a large number of literature reviews, empirical studies and picture book cases, and analyzed the manifestations of psychological problems in diff erent cultural backgrounds, as well as the diff erences in the needs and eff ects of psychological healing. Then, we analyzed the application status of picture book design in psychological therapy and healing under diff erent cultural backgrounds. According to the cultural differences on the psychological needs of college students in diff erent cultural backgrounds to fi nd the path of picture book design. By designing the content, form and language of picture books under diff erent cultural backgrounds, the cultural adaptability and application eff ect of picture book design are verifi ed. Finally, through empirical research, the application eff ect of picture book design in cultural adaptive psychological healing is compared with that of traditional psychological healing, and it is found that picture book design has important application value in cultural adaptive psychological healing.
