Benefits of Calligraphy Education Among Primary School Students in Shanxi Province

Abstract


The main purpose of this study is to determine the benefi ts of calligraphy education among the students in primary schools in Shanxi province. The signifi cance of this study is to develop strong self-control and cultivate talents with high morals and good physical and mental quality. Adescriptive analysis method and literature research were used as methods of this study. The Chinese traditional culture specifi cally calligraphy is promoted to primary students. The relationship between calligraphy education and the physical and mental health of primary school students was found out to be interrelated with each other. In the study, the focused of the students were sustained while learning calligraphy which led to the promotion of the attention qualities of the students. It also helped the students practice their breathing exercises and exercised their cardiovascular and cerebrovascular system. Thus, calligraphy education have a great benefi t to students. Furthering of their skills with well equipped teachers are highly recommended.
