The Enlightenment of Tao Xingzhi’s Educational Thoughts on English Teaching in Senior High Schools under the New Curriculum Reform

Abstract


With the steady progress of the new curriculum reform, teaching methods in various disciplines in China have begun to change one after another. Due to the positive impact of high school English learning on students’ long-term development in the future. Therefore, the goal of high school English teaching is to help students effectively use the language, continuously accumulate more vocabulary and grammar, comprehensively grasp humanistic literacy knowledge, and promote students’ all-round development. Tao Xingzhi’s educational thoughts can play a very good role in teaching English in senior high schools, which is conducive to improving the overall quality and level of classroom teaching, actively creating a harmonious classroom teaching atmosphere, and thus making teaching practice more effective. Based on this, this paper focuses on the enlightenment of Tao Xingzhi’s educational thoughts on English teaching in senior high schools under the new curriculum reform for reference.
