The Transformation of Comparative Education in the Era of Globalization

Abstract


With the increasing of international and cross-cultural communication,the fi eld of education is also facing new challenges and opportunities.Through comprehensive research and case analysis,this paper discusses the importance and transformation direction of comparative education in the era of globalization.On the basis of traditional comparative education research,more and more studies begin to pay attention to international comparison and cross-cultural education.This includes comparing education systems,education policies,and education practices in diff erent countries to identify common challenges and best practices.In addition,in the era of globalization,the discipline of comparative education needs to pay attention to the theory and practice of intercultural education in order to cultivate educational professionals with global vision and intercultural education ability.Through these transformations,the discipline of comparative education can better adapt to the needs of the era of globalization and provide more valuable research and practical results for education reform and development.
