Exploration of Cultural Infi ltration in English Language Teaching in Universities

Abstract

In traditional university English teaching,people pay more attention to students’mastery of language knowledge and language abilities,rather than considering them from the perspectives of theory and ability.In teaching,insuffi cient attention has been paid to the infi ltration of culture and the cultivation of students’English thinking.After the new curriculum reform,university teaching needs to strengthen the infi ltration of culture according to the purpose of teaching reform and specifi c development needs,in order to enable English learners to better accept and identify with diff erent cultures,and continuously broaden their learning ideas In response to this situation,this article explores the importance and strategies of strengthening cultural infi ltration in current university English teaching,aiming to enhance cultural infi ltration in university English teaching.It is hoped that this can play a certain reference role in university English teaching.
