The Effective Use of Digital Technology in the Teaching of Sculpture in Colleges and Universities

Abstract


Since the rapid development of science and technology in the 21st century, sculpture teaching in colleges and universities has also paid more attention to the application of digital technology, which is good news for teachers and students. This new type of education
not only breaks through the limitations of space, but also reduces material consumption, and more importantly, it has precise and
reversible characteristics, which greatly reduces the time required for sculpture creation. In teaching practice, the practical use of digital
technology cannot be separated from the traditional teaching mode, so teachers should guide students to use digital technology reasonably
to improve the quality and efficiency of sculpture teaching. In this regard, combined with teaching practice, this paper first analyzes the
current situation of digital technology applied in sculpture teaching in colleges and universities, and then discusses the application of
digital technology in teaching and its application prospects, in order to provide reference for relevant personnel.
