Design and Construction of First-class Offline Undergraduate Courses in Foreign Language — Taking “Advanced English” as an Example

Abstract


Curriculum is the key content of talent training in colleges and universities. Only by paying attention to curriculum and teaching
can we provide continuous source and support for the development and leading of the discipline; Only by paying attention to output and
practice can we cultivate more application-oriented, compound and technical talents for the country and society. Based on the construction
of “Advanced English” course in Haihua College, Liaoning Normal University, this paper explores how to promote the course quality and
how to build a first-class provincial undergraduate course based on the university level from the perspective of course orientation and goal, curriculum system, curriculum content and resources, curriculum teachers and team building, curriculum teaching methods and means, curriculum evaluation methods, curriculum characteristics and innovation.
