A Literature Review of Research on the Bashu Dialect in the Past Twenty Years，2000-2020

Abstract

This paper sorts out the research results of dialects in the Bashu area from the aspects of phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, etc., and summarizes its research achievements, but also fi nds the shortcomings of the research: the number of research results and the differences between counties, cities, districts is unbalanced quality, unbalanced distribution of surveys and research sites within counties, cities, districts. The age difference in dialects has not been well taken into account in comprehensive research, relatively lacking in phonetics, vocabulary, and unbalanced research at the grammatical level. At the same time, the future research direction is prospected.
