Application of Chunking Teaching Model in English Translation Teaching in Colleges and Universities

Abstract

There are certain templates in any language,which are formed through long-term accumulation and serve as the basis for learners to construct and apply the language.In college English translation teaching,if students can master enough language chunks,they can perform relatively fl uent translation work.Therefore,on the basis of elaborating on the connotation and advantages of chunk based teaching,the article explored the teaching of English translation in universities,in order to have certain reference significance for the reform of English translation teaching in universities.
