Abstract

Objective: To explore the grass-roots employment willingness of order-oriented medicine in rural areas of clinical medicine majors in Henan Province, deeply explore the reasons and influencing factors of their weak grass-roots employment willingness, and discuss how to enhance their employment willingness. Method: According to the overall sampling method, all rural order-oriented medical students with clinical majors recruited by Xinxiang Medical University from 2018 to 2022 were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey. A total of 287 questionnaires were distributed, and 276 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a recovery rate of 96.17. Using SPSS 26.0 to conduct statistical analysis. Results: Gender, Main living place, Monthly household income, and Whether the orientation place and hometown are the same aff ect their employment willingness. Except for “signing an agreement before enrolling and being honest”, other reasons have an impact on grassroots employment willingness. Among them, “signing an agreement before enrolling, the cost of breaching the contract is higher” is negatively correlated, and other reasons are positively correlated. Except for “low job satisfaction”, other reasons have an impact on grassroots employment willingness, showing a negative correlation. Conclusion: The reason why graduates choose grassroots employment is the high cost of breach of contract and the advantages of grassroots employment. The reason for hindering grassroots employment is that the conditions at the grassroots are backward. Suggestion: Actively explore and build an effective operating mechanism for the four-party joint education of “government, unit, school, and student”.
