Exploration and Practice of Cultivating Creative, Innovative, and Entrepreneurial Abilities of New Engineering Talents through the Integration of “Teaching Competition Creation and Entrepreneurship”

Abstract


Sanya College of New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles combines the spirit of “innovation, entrepreneurship, and value creation” to continuously improve the quality of talent cultivation. By implementing a student-centered concept and meeting the personalized needs of students, it explores and forms an engineering education model centered on learners. It explores and practices in terms of educational philosophy, training programs, curriculum systems, and teaching methods, and constructs a teaching system that promotes the interaction between “interest, foundation, ability, and literacy”, and carries out high-quality teaching projects and collaborative education projects to achieve a positive interaction between teaching and discipline competitions, stimulating learning interest, cultivating innovative abilities, and improving competition results. It enhances the learning interest of information-based applied talents, solidifi es professional foundations, cultivates core professional abilities, improves scientifi c literacy, and forms a “teaching, competition, innovation” integrated new engineering talent cultivation model, obtaining a series of research results in discipline competitions, scientifi c and technological innovation activities, and research projects.
