Analysis of the Path of Ideological and Political Integration in the College English Courses of Western Culture for General Education

Abstract


Under the fundamental task of virtue cultivation, college English should study how to do a good job in the ideological and political construction of the curriculum and implement the requirements of cultivating English talents with both ability and integrity, which requires the integration of ideology and politics in curriculum teaching. Based on the research on Western culture courses of general education for non-English majors, this paper analyzes the concepts, ideas and methods, and specific operations around the integration of ideology and politics, hoping to provide reference for the teaching of English courses of Western culture in universities.
