The Role of Library Resources in Promoting the Teaching of Higher Vocational Automotive Maintenance Courses
Abstract
courses. It first introduces the current situation and characteristics of the higher vocational automotive maintenance program, and
emphasizes the students' needs for practical and professional knowledge. Then it analyzes the role of libraries in teaching automotive maintenance majors, including learning support in the freshman stage, deepening learning and research opportunities in the middle stage of the curriculum, and employment preparation and lifelong learning support in the upcoming graduation stage. Then strategies for using
library resources to promote teaching and learning in automotive maintenance courses are proposed, including literature search courses and lectures, library work-study activities and volunteer initiatives, and expanding collection resource building and inter-library
communication and cooperation.
