The Relationship between Regional Culture and Art Creation —— Take Gansu Province as an Example

Abstract

Gansu is one of the important cradles of Chinese civilization, the unique geographical environment and cultural environment
has created its unique regional culture. Gansu regional culture has a long history, both the shadow of the Central Plains culture and the
characteristics of the northwest regional culture, it has experienced different development process in different historical periods. As one of
the important parts of Chinese traditional culture, Gansu regional culture has had a profound influence on the art creation in various periods. This paper analyzes the characteristics of art creation in Gansu province, further discusses the relationship between art creation
and regional culture, and provides a certain theoretical basis for the development of art creation and regional culture in the future.
