Simple and Pure -- Shao Bingfeng, A Plain Artist

Abstract

Since Roger Cardinall defined "outsider art", the definition of "outsider art" has been expanding. Under the current Chinese art environment, this is still a relatively new field. This paper studies the concept of the plain art and the plain artist Shao Bingfeng to explore the enlightenment of the plain art for our artistic creation. The plain artists have widened the boundaries of art with sincere feelings and simple hearts.
