Strengthening the Humanistic Literacy of Contemporary College Students

Abstract


The mainstream of contemporary college students’ humanistic spirit is positive and worthy of affirmation. However, we should also be soberly aware of the lack of humanistic spirit in some college students. Contemporary college students cannot do without humanistic quality education in shaping individual ability, perfecting individual character and improving individual quality. This paper looked into the current situation of college students’ humanistic literacy and the reasons for their lack of humanistic literacy, as well as ways to improve their humanistic literacy. Through the way of questionnaire survey to collect college students’ views on the above issues, and analysis by quantitative research method, it is concluded that the humanistic quality of contemporary college students is relatively short, and the humanistic quality of college students needs to be improved.
