Confucian political and economic theories of humanity are not the same as the Western tradition of practice philosophy. With the rapid development of computer technology and artificial intelligence, research on machine learning-based decision-making in ideological and political education at the university level has become a crucial focus in the field of education. This research project aims to leverage machine learning methods and data analysis techniques to construct a machine learning-based analytical approach for decision-making in ideological and political education at universities, providing effective theoretical support for decision-making in this context.The project involves an in-depth investigation and analysis of the requirements for decision-making in ideological and political education at the university level. Through interviews and surveys of education decision-makers, the study aims to understand the challenges and needs they face in the decision-making process. Subsequently, a substantial amount of student learning data and relevant educational resource data will be collected, followed by data preprocessing and feature selection. Various machine learning methods and data mining techniques, such as Support Vector Machines (SVM), will then be employed for association analysis and modeling of the data.By mining student learning data, the research seeks to uncover latent information related to students’ learning performance and educational needs. Based on this exploration, a machine learning-based decision support system for ideological and political education at the university level will be constructed.

The use of autonomy is by now well-documented, implicitly being regarded as a benign capacity and a good thing (Dearden, 1972; Crittenden, 1979; Robson, 1991). However, what educational evaluation can be made for it? It seems sensible that autonomy could be firmly legitimized as an educational aim when we are convinced for its actual worth and for what it makes possible. So this paper explores some potential justifi cations that autonomy can make for the education goal. It begins with the contribution of autonomy can make to the externally imposed authority confronted by children by transforming Isaian Berlin’s (1958) definition of autonomy. The paper then turns to extend Dearden’s (1972) account of autonomy to the subjects’ own internally sovereign authority. The first two sections will deeply explore what is autonomy and its worth. In the third section, it proceeds to present its value regarding what autonomy could introduce in the shape of children’s rights, and furthermore why it is valuable to be an educational goal.

The aim of this qualitative study was to examine the beliefs of pre-service teachers on home-school cooperation and the sources and influences that shape pre-service teachers' beliefs about home-school collaboration. Data were drawn from semistructured interviews with ten pre-service teachers in East China Normal University in Shanghai. Data were analysed using cluster analysis. Findings indicate pre-service teachers' beliefs about home-school cooperation are partially at odds with current policy reform advocacy in China. The formation of these beliefs was most influenced by personal experiences in primary and secondary schooling, followed by others' case sharing, internship experiences, and the news media. Teacher education should emphasize the development of competencies related to home-school cooperation.

By means of questionnaire survey and interview, this paper studies the innovation and entrepreneurship practice course off ered by the animation Department of Beihai University of Art and Design. The results show that the course has made some progress in terms of teaching content and conditions. However, further eff orts are needed in deepening reform and strengthening practice. Teachers’ overall satisfaction with their courses is higher than students’. Through comparative analysis, this paper finds out the advantages and disadvantages of curriculum construction, and puts forward some suggestions for formulating targeted curriculum development strategies, including establishing multi-level curriculum target system, adopting project-driven teaching method, and establishing resource docking platform inside and outside the school, so as to optimize curriculum provision and improve the quality of talent training.

This thesis explores the blended teaching mode based on microteaching + flipped classroom, and evaluates the effect of its implementation. Pathology is an important course in the medical profession, and the traditional face-to-face teaching mode has time and space limitations. By making full use of the features of microteaching and flipped classroom, the learning effect and motivation of students can be improved. Microteaching, as a form of teaching carried by short videos, can be used for knowledge transfer and preview. Flipped classroom, on the other hand, emphasises the use of traditional classroom time for interactive learning activities to improve students' initiative and critical thinking skills. In the teaching of pathology, microteaching is used for preview and knowledge transfer, and teacher-student interaction and inquiry-based learning is achieved through the flipped classroom. In today’s era of educational globalization, Chinese students’ high pursuit of academic achievements such as grades and rankings are well known to international scholars. However, this obsession with education has had negative consequences for Chinese students, resulting in depression and even suicide. This article presents a novel perspective on the issue, employing existence theory as a framework to explore the reasons behind Chinese students’ academic obsession and the changes that have emerged in the context of late modernity. Drawing on a literature review and semi-structured interviews, the author reveals that the factors driving this preoccupation with educational achievement are multifaceted and complex, including the influence of traditional Chinese Confucian culture, the close connection between education and the job market, the parenting styles of Chinese parents, and the Chinese examination system itself. The article also highlights the growing trend among modern Chinese students to pursue a more holistic and well-rounded approach to education, focusing not only on academic scores but also on developing moral, personal, and career-related skills. Nevertheless, it is clear that achieving academic success and meeting educational milestones remain the primary goals for most Chinese students, driven in part by the intense pressure and competitiveness of China’s current social environment.

In close reading of the incarnations of acousmatic sounds as they are artfully employed in Edgar Allan Poe’s The Fall of the House of Usher, this paper attempts to elucidate Poe’s maneuver of diverse soundscapes in creating a type of acousmatic aesthetics. The capacity of sounds in the construction of Gothic atmosphere, or as an beacon in depicting the nervous breakdown of the protagonist “Roderick Usher” will be examined specifically. Poe’s sonic representations in The Fall of the House of Usher unfold panoramic and measured use of sounds, and the certain amount, though not tremendous, of ink has also presented scenes flourished with soundscapes and any less attention drawn to those perspectives would breed a want of understanding his subtle design in the flow of the novel.
