Section Collection Information

Dear Colleagues,

‘Climate variability’ refers to variations in the mean prevailing state of the climate on all temporal and spatial scales beyond that of individual weather events. This variability is driven by natural forces as well as anthropogenic activities. The latter have the major role on the observed variability in recent decades. Climate variability impact the diverse sectors of life on earth: environment, economy, health, food security, energy consumption, etc. Researchers and scientists, all over the world, save no effort to investigate the reasons behind the phenomenon and to propose the convenient plans to solve the problem through adaptation and mitigation measures. The scientific vision is built on the analysis of long-term meteorological data, in addition to the consideration of the socio-economic point of view. For this, it is crucial to collect the experiences of all who are interested in the investigation of this important topic.

We are delighted to welcome research articles and reviews that investigate the topic of ‘climate variability’ from its diverse considerations.

We eagerly await your contributions.
