The article explores the issues with traditional Marxist philosophy textbooks and emphasizes the necessity of reform. These textbooks fail to fully capture the essence of the original works and are based on the Soviet model, lacking innovation. Scholars’ introspection on these textbooks has initiated reform to align with China’s socialism and reform policies. Philosophy should engage with contemporary challenges, focusing on modernization, practice, reality, and problem awareness. The reform of traditional philosophy textbooks is inevitable; it requires refl ection and development to advance society and guide socialist construction, achieving an organicintegration of Marxism with China’s development.

The Middle Ages was an important period in European history, and the church played a core role in the society. Among them, the church etiquette music is an indispensable part of the church ceremony, which is of great signifi cance to the expression of the church faith and spiritual culture. This paper mainly explores the development of western church etiquette music in the Middle Ages. The results show that the western church etiquette music in the Middle Ages experienced a long historical evolution. From the initial simple single-melodic aria to the complex multi-voice chorus, it was also infl uenced by many factors such as social and artistic style changes at that time. In addition, the study also found that there are some regional diff erences in the church etiquette music in diff erent regions, refl ecting the local culture and characteristics. This research helps people to better understand the cultural background and artistic characteristics of medieval church music, and is of great signifi cance for the study of music, history and other disciplines.

Objective To determine the priority of consumers’ emotional demand for veneer product design by using Kano model, and to design a veneer technology product with practicability and daily use value. Methods Consumer demand was investigated, consumer demand factor hierarchy model was constructed based on emotional design theory to analyze consumer demand, and the fi nal design factor was determined by sensitivity ranking of Kano model. Results The Kano model made the product demand analysis process more objective and perfect, realized the exploration and practice of the design innovation of veneer products, and provided positive reference value for the subsequent inheritance of veneer technology. Conclusion Through the expansion of Kano model, it is proved that consumer psychological factors play an important role in the design of veneer products, which solves the problem that the design of veneer products lacks innovation, cannot be integrated into the modern life scene, and is diffi cult to meet the needs of modern life.

In Fitzgerald's hands, the Great Gatsby presents readers with a true picture of the prosperity of the United States in the 1920s, or the lively “jazz Age”. Studies on the Great Gatsby from the view of Halliday’s meta-functions of language theory turns out great innovation and get numerous fi ndings in various facets of this classic. This research continues this topic, focusing on some fragments of dialogue in the climax chapter VII of this work, aimed at seeking for a possible insight of the interpersonal relationship between the main characters, using MOOD system, which is one of the members in interpersonal function of language proposed by Halliday’s theory in order to enrich the analysis perspective of studies on this fi eld and make a corresponding complement for the application of MOOD system in literary classical works in discoursal analysis.

Objective To explore the application eff ect of PBL teaching method based on Internet + training examination combined with ORIME evaluation system in the standardized training of residents. Methods Thirty students who participated in the standardization of residency in our hospital and completed their studies in 2020 were selected as the study subjects, and 219 students enrolled in our hospital from 2008 to 2017 who planned to complete their studies before June 2019 were selected as the control group. The control group adopted the traditional resident training management method, and the research group adopted the Internet + training examination combined with ORIME evaluation system to assist PBL teaching method. The teachers and students were evaluated in a two-way way. Each student needed to obtain the satisfaction of 4 nurses and patients, and the one-time passing rate of the two groups of students was compared and observed. Results The two-way evaluation scores of the teachers and students in the study group were signifi cantly higher than those in the control group, and the diff erence was statistically signifi cant (P<0.05). The satisfaction scores of nurses and patients in the study group were signifi cantly higher than those in the control group, and the diff erence was statistically signifi cant (P<0.05). The one-time passing rate of the study group was slightly higher than that of the control group, and the diff erence was not statistically signifi cant (P>0.05). Conclusion PBL teaching method based on Internet + training examination combined with ORIME evaluation system can eff ectively promote the improvement of standardized training and teaching quality of residents, and promote the improvement of nurses’ and patients’ satisfaction. In the results, although there was no signifi cant statistical diff erence in the fi nal assessment scores of the two groups of students, this may be related to a variety of factors such as too short implementation time and too small sample size, but the students’ learning interest and comprehensive clinical thinking were improved, which has good reference signifi cance for the teaching of our hospital and other universities at the same level.

Based on the objectives of graduate training, fl ipped classroom teaching process and results-oriented education concept (OBE), this study innovatively proposed a “goal-process-outcome” integrated evaluation framework for fl ipped classroom teaching for graduate students. On this basis, using the interview method, Delphi questionnaire method, comprehensive evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process, a set of eff ective teaching evaluation index system for graduate fl ipped classroom is constructed, which is composed of 5 fi rst-level indicators, 14 second-level indicators and 34 third-level indicators. This evaluation index system can help teachers objectively and comprehensively evaluate the eff ective teaching of fl ipped classroom for graduate students, improve the research level and innovation ability of graduate students, and promote the in-depth development of the concept and practice of fl ipped classroom for graduate students.

From a cross-cultural perspective, the development of business English translation should take full account of cultural diff erences and the impact on language communication between the two places. From the perspective of diff erent thinking habits caused by cultural diff erences, the focus of business English translation optimization is analyzed to achieve the goal of eff ective translation of business English, which is a strong foundation to ensure the accuracy and appropriacy of business English translation. It is suggested that relevant staff should deeply analyze and understand the infl uencing factors of business English translation, including cultural customs, way of thinking, way of expression, writing habits, etc., focus on the premise of clarifying the principles and working characteristics of business English translation, and then take corresponding measures to “accurately” translate, which can generally achieve better translation results. The description of causality from the perspective of manipulation is very consistent with human intuition, but the manipulationism and agentivity theory under the program of reductionism are always faced with the problem of defi nition cycle and anthropocentrism. Interventionism skillfully gets rid of this dilemma by changing the theoretical perspective and drawing on symbolic language. This research explores the eff ective use of blended learning to improve English phonetics instruction in middle school. Questionnaire surveys and analysis were conducted among students and teachers in a middle school in Guangzhou. The study aims to fi nd out how to build an eff ective blended teaching model for middle school English phonetics.
The research utilized questionnaires, interviews and other methods. Ninety students in two parallel classes participated in the study, with three rounds of action research conducted using the teaching activities from the Guangzhou Oxford Edition Junior High School English 7th Grade Book (Volume 2). The research resulted in a blended learning model for English phonetics in middle school, incorporating classroom-based instruction, micro-teaching, and fl ipped classroom techniques.
The fi ndings suggest that the blended learning model has broad application prospects in English phonetics teaching, although the research has limitations such as short duration and a small sample size. Future research should focus on adjusting and improving the teaching model to cater to diff erent students’ learning needs and characteristics and enhance English phonetics’ eff ectiveness in middle school.

Through the analysis of various technologies such as interactive technology, projection mapping, wireless network and sensor technology, this paper reveals how digital media art can strengthen urban tourism attraction, brand communication and interaction between citizens and cities. In addition, the case analysis of digital art exhibition in Beijing 798 Art District further proves the important value of digital media public art in shaping and enhancing the image of the city.

High school history education is of great signifi cance to cultivate students’ historical accomplishment, thinking ability and comprehensive quality. However, there are some problems in history education in senior high schools, such as single teaching content, traditional teaching methods and lack of interest of students. Therefore, this paper probes into the methods and optimization strategies of history education in senior high schools, including the methods of cultivating students’ history accomplishment, raising students’ interest in history study, strengthening students’ history thinking ability and optimizing the evaluation system of history teaching. Through the discussion and practice of these methods, we can improve the quality and eff ect of history education in senior high school and contribute to the cultivation of more talents with historical accomplishment and comprehensive quality.

The case study examines the challenges and countermeasures of implementing online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language (CFL). A pilot study on online teaching of CFL at Confucius institute at Kenyatta University has been conducted via survey and questionnaire. This study identifi es elements that generates impacts on teaching Chinese as a foreign language, including a lack of access to internet, challenges of inadequate technology knowledge and a lack of opportunities to experience culture in an immersive context. Therefore, countermeasures are put out accordingly so that the online teaching of CFL can be carried out more eff ectively.

This paper will tentatively off er an explanation on the relationship between the meaning of the subjunctive mood and its pasttense form, under the framework of conceptual metaphor theory. It is hoped that this anaylsis could manage to off er a better elaboration on the tense of the subjunctive mood with a cognitive interpretation, with a view to helping ESL teachers and learners better understand the subjunctive mood in English teaching/learning process and opening a new gate for further studies on relationship between mood and tense.

This article delves into the mechanism of action of icariin as a potential drug for treating male infertility. Male infertility is a common problem that aff ects reproductive health, involving complex reproductive system mechanisms and multiple causes. By exploring multiple aspects such as reproductive gene regulation, androgen regulation, antioxidant and anti-infl ammatory eff ects, this article reveals multiple pathways of icariin in improving male fertility. Clinical research results show that icariin treatment can improve sperm count, motility, and morphology, which has a positive impact on the reproductive system of male infertility patients. The rise of personalized treatment strategies has provided precise directions for the application of icariin, developing treatment plans based on the patient’s etiology and characteristics, improving effi cacy, and deeply analyzing the mechanism of icariin’s role in the treatment of male infertility, providing more accurate and eff ective medical support for patients, in order to increase the chances of successful fertility.
