Land resources are important factors of production for human survival and development, and also important basic resources for social and economic development. The carrying capacity of land has a direct impact on regional social and economic development. This paper analyzes the carrying capacity of land resources in six townships of Guyang county, Inner Mongolia from the perspectives of agriculture, construction, population and ecological environment. The results show that: From 2005 to 2020, the overall increase of land resource carrying capacity in Guyang county accounted for the majority. The land carrying capacity index increased by 0.0044 in Jinshan Town, 0.1822 in Xiashihao Town, 0.0244 in Huaishuo Town and 0.1789 in Xingshunxi Town.Silver Town fell 0.1026. In terms of spatial distribution, Jinshan Town in the southwest of Guyang county and Xidoupu Town and Xingshunxi Town in the northwest of Guyang county have a high level of land resource carrying capacity, while Xiashihao Town and Yinhao Town in the southeast and Huaishuo Town in the northwest of Guyang county have a low level of land resource carrying capacity. On the whole, the carrying capacity of land resources in Guyang county is higher in the west and lower in the east.

As our only home in the universe so far, the Earth is currently more than 4.5 billion years old. The Earth is the only silicate planet we know which experiences plate tectonics. As a unique way to release heat energy, plate tectonics plays a critical role in moulding our Earth, almost everything of our planet is closely connected to it. However, as the Earth keeps cooling down from its birth, plate tectonics would disappear one day in the future, which would lead to the greatest cataclysm in the history. Without plate tectonics, the Earth would be withered and freezing planet of death, with a great possibility to suffer from another snowball Earth.

Based on the first-principles calculation method of density functional theory, we designed a new all-sp2 hybrid M-C16 carbon with a zigzag carbon chain. The results show that M-C16 carbon has good stability and symmetric nodes appear in the Brillouin zone of this structure. Moreover, we further studied the optical properties of M-C16 carbon, which showed that it has a strong absorption in the ultraviolet range and can be used in solar cells and optoelectronic devices. This study not only provides new ideas for the construction of novel 3 D topological carbon allotropes, but also promotes the development of novel carbon allotropes with novel electron and transport properties.

The Mie scattering theory of a single bubble is used to solve the problems of different bubble radius scattering intensity distribution and scattering phase function distribution of bubbles at different refractive index of seawater in the paper. This paper systematically describes the single bubble Mie scattering theory, which provides experimental verification and data support for the single bubble Mie scattering theory, and also has important research significance for underwater laser communication and laser guidance of submarine wake.

As a student hailing from Southeast China and residing in the New England region of the Northeastern United States, I have personally witnessed the impact of both large and small hurricanes throughout my life. This firsthand experience has sparked my curiosity about the fundamental processes underlying the formation of these destructive weather phenomena. While existing literature attributes the primary energy source of hurricanes to water vapor and fluid flow generated by tropical oceans, the specific cause of their development remains elusive. This scientific report presents the rationale behind conducting an experiment to simulate the energy transfer in convection and its influence on fluid motion, with the goal of enhancing our understanding of hurricane formation and improving disaster prevention strategies.
