It Is Unnecessary for the EU “AOIC” Test to Be an International Standard of Originality
Abstract
Originality standard is one of the core provisions of copyright laws in various countries. Its function is to filter those works that are not original, so as to bring the eligible works into the protection scope of copyright law. The controversial issue in this area is whether or not the harmonisation of the originality standard is necessary.
