The profitability analysis in this report compares the return on equity (ROE), marginal income, and return on net operating assets (RNOA) of iQIYI and Netflix. Regarding ROE, iQIYI has been experiencing negative ROE, indicating that the company has been operating at a loss and its profitability is below average. In contrast, Netflix has maintained a positive ROE, indicating profitability and value generation for shareholders. However, iQIYI's net loss has been declining, and its ROE has been increasing, suggesting a gradual recovery in profitability. The differences in ROE between iQIYI and Netflix can be attributed to their financial performance, business models, and cost structures. Netflix's positive ROE is a result of consistent growth, increasing net profit, and successful equity investments. On the other hand, iQIYI's negative ROE reflects financial challenges and losses incurred in recent years. The analysis of marginal income reveals that Netflix outperforms iQIYI in terms of net income and sales, with Netflix's sales being approximately six times larger. Factors contributing to the differences in marginal income include market dominance, content offerings, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency. Netflix's global recognition, high-quality content, pricing strategy, and operational scale have enabled higher sales and profitability compared to iQIYI.The analysis of RNOA shows that Netflix has a significantly higher RNOA ratio compared to iQIYI, indicating higher efficiency in generating profit from operating activities. iQIYI's negative RNOA ratio suggests its inability to generate profits from operating activities. However, iQIYI's RNOA ratio has shown significant improvement in 2020 compared to 2019, indicating enhanced profitability. Factors contributing to the differences in RNOA ratios include competition, content production costs, subscriber growth, cost optimization measures, and monetization strategies. In conclusion, Netflix demonstrates better profitability than iQIYI in terms of ROE, marginal income, and RNOA. Netflix's consistent growth, international expansion, high sales, and operational efficiency contribute to its superior profitability. iQIYI, although facing challenges, shows signs of improvement in its profitability indicators. The differences between the two companies can be attributed to various factors such as financial performance, business models, cost structures, market reach, content offerings, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.

China's market economy is gradually maturing, with the support of national policies, the development speed of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is increasing, which greatly promotes the development of the national economy. The existence of SMEs not only injects strong driving force into the country's economic development but also effectively alleviates the increasingly prominent problem of employment pressure in recent years. However, financing difficulties are still the main problem restricting the development of SMEs [1]. In this context, supply chain finance has emerged. This financing model is highly compatible with the characteristics of SMEs and can effectively meet the financing needs of small and medium-sized enterprises [2]. Therefore, a further in-depth analysis of the supply chain financing methods for SMEs is of great practical significance. Traditional financing models can no longer meet the financing needs of SMEs. Supply chain finance has many advantages, such as providing a way for smaller-scale enterprises to obtain loans. However, we find that supply chain finance may still involve risks through the establishment of risk models. To address this issue, it is necessary for banks and companies at the core of the supply chain to establish a new type of cooperative relationship and actively leverage their strengths to promote the better development of this new financing model. This paper first elaborates on the basic concept of supply chain finance. Then, it analyzes several problems currently existing in supply chain finance and establishes relevant game models to explain these problems, such as moral hazard. Finally, this paper suggests that banks and core companies in the supply chain need to establish a new type of collaborative relationship to promote the development of supply chain finance [3].

This paper finds convincing evidence that, from the perspective of the average employee, the pay gap between peers is a better motivator for them to work hard. According to the regression results, it is found that wage difference of lower-paid employees is positively correlated with corporate performance, but the correlation coefficient is not significant, which indicates that it is may not a simple linear connection. It shows that the excessive salary gap will also limit employees' attention to their own interests, and then affect corporate performance.

We consider the case that consumers have strong green preference, that is, consumers value remanufactured products more than new products. With the goal of maximizing the profit and social welfare of the original product manufacturer and the remanufacturer respectively, this paper study the impact of consumer green preference degree, optimal profit and maximum social welfare value were investigated by using two-stage Stackelberg game analysis and backward induction. The results show that: (1) With the increase of consumers' green preference, the optimal price of stage 2 products increases, and the price of remanufactured products increases significantly; However, the price of new products in stage 2 gradually decreases. In addition, with the increase of consumers' green preference, the profit value of the original product manufacturer decreases gradually, while the profit of the remanufacturer increases gradually. In addition, consumer surplus increases with the increase of green preference, but the growth rate is slow. 2) With the increase of consumers' green preference, the optimal pricing of new products shows a decreasing trend. However, there is a unique threshold to distinguish the influence of green preference coefficient on the optimal price of remanufactured products. When consumers' green preference is greater than the threshold, the optimal price of remanufactured products is positively correlated with it. Overall, the Original Product Manufacturer's profit decreases with the increase of consumers' green preference, while the remanufacturer's profit increases first and then decreases. When the goal is to maximize social welfare, the pricing of new products is the cost of new products, and the optimal pricing of remanufactured products increases gradually with the increase of consumers' green preference. When pursuing the maximization of social welfare, only the existence of external incentives can achieve the maximization of social welfare. Therefore, the accurate positioning of remanufactured products, the comprehensive understanding of consumers' preference for remanufactured products and appropriate government incentives have a significant impact on the optimal pricing decision of products and the profit of remanufacturers.

Based on the CHFS micro survey data, this paper constructs the household poverty vulnerability index and empirically tests the moderating effect of entrepreneurial vitality on the inhibition of household poverty vulnerability by digital finance. The results show that: digital finance can significantly inhibit household vulnerability to poverty, and the effect of coverage breadth is more prominent. Second, entrepreneurial vitality can strengthen the inhibitory effect of digital finance on household poverty vulnerability, and the strengthening effect on coverage breadth is more obvious. Third, there is significant heterogeneity in the moderating effect of entrepreneurial vitality on digital finance inhibiting household vulnerability to poverty, and the moderating effect is more significant in the eastern and central regions with better digital infrastructure. This study provides empirical evidence for evaluating the poverty reduction effect of digital finance and entrepreneurial vitality and also provides policy references for promoting the construction of common prosperity.
